I’m a public historian, folklorist, and award-winning writer who helps people uncover extraordinary stories hidden in ordinary places. Through tours, lively lectures, books, workshops, essays, and storytelling events, I explore the lore and traditions that shape us all.

My goal is to connect people with the stories that shape our lives. I believe folklore isn’t just something we inherit; it’s something we continue to create. That’s where history becomes magical. If I’ve inspired someone to visit a historic site, ask an older relative for a family story, or simply see the world with fresh eyes, I’ve done my job.

I’m especially excited about the release of my upcoming poetry collection, Goodnight Poet, which invites readers to pause and savour the day's final moments.
